AAP leader Atishi became the 17th woman chief minister in the country and the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi as she took oath on Saturday.

Atishi took office as Delhi's youngest chief minister and called on residents to re-elect Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming assembly election. She cautioned that the Bharatiya Janata Party could revoke current benefits such as free electricity and enhanced public services if Kejriwal is not chosen.

Other than the CM, five cabinet ministers were also sworn in alongside her, as Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered their oath.

Chief Minister-designate Atishi will be sworn in along with her new Council of Ministers during a ceremony at the Raj Niwas on Saturday afternoon that will see AAP form the government in Delhi for the fourth time in a row.
