Just when you think you might be getting it going picking these NFL games, the league reminds you that you don't have any idea. That happened to me last week. After a solid Week 9, Week 10 went into the toilet.

The Kansas City Chiefs are now 9-0 this season. But several other teams have impressed as of late, with the Detroit Lions' win streak at seven games, the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills having each won five straight and the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals each at four wins in a row.

I might have guessed that after the team’s latest improbable victory, Week 11’s power rankings would have revealed yet another way to mark the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs down a peg. But instead, the Chiefs rose in three of this week’s rankings — probably because these games are fixed.
