According to a new report by Nikkei Asia, Totoki described the PS5 Pro as “a high-end product targeted at core customers” which didn't have “a large sales plan to begin with.” He went on to say that he believes it is “performing slightly stronger than the pre-orders of the PS4 Pro during the same period”.

It may cost a fortune but despite rumours that it’s not selling, the PS5 Pro is doing even better than Sony originally expected.

If you were to add a vertical stand and a disc drive to the PS5 Pro to fairly compare it to the PS5 Slim Standard, its price jumps up to $810 — over $300 more than the PS5 Slim Standard.
